Windsor Sports Weekend 2008

The University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada’s CAOS has ground-breaking ideas that are sure to make Windsor Sports Weekend 2008 better than ever before! The theme of Windsor Sports Weekend 2008 is “It Was All a Dream”. The word “dream” means so much it encompasses everything they hope for in an event: That it inspires their guests to dream bigger, that it offers the guests an escape from monotony and that it brings a fantasy to life, if only for a weekend.



They are currently seeking a national or international headlining R&B or Hip Hop act for March 15, 2008 to perform at Liquid Dream in The Roxy Entertainment Complex. The selected act will receive an inclusive flat fee for their performance. Full sound and lighting will be provided.



This is the final segment in Windsor Sports Weekend 2008. It will be a high-energy evening of music and dance featuring some of the best DJs from around the world. Soca Monarchs and DJ Starting from Scratch from Toronto, New York’s DJ Power, and Richie Feelings from Jamaica will be providing music for the evening. This event is 19+; there will be high security and police presence to ensure safety, and a relaxed dress code.
