Summary

The Winnipeg Ska & Reggae Festival (WSRF), produced by Bacteria Buffet Records, is now accepting submissions for this yearÂ’s lineup. Taking place August 21-23, 2008 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, the festival features local, regional, and touring ska and reggae acts on three different stages. There are at least ten performance spots, and the 2008 line up currently includes Dubmatix (Toronto), JFK Renegade Sound System, Seed Organization, SubCity Dwellers, Sugar Minott (Jamaica), Brinsley Forde (UK), Jason Wilson (Toronto), and Mello Man.



Selected artists may be compensated with an amount to be negotiated at time of booking. In 2007, over 1500 people attended the WSRF, which featured Mikey Dread, Willi Williams and Sugar Minott. Past sponsors include Red Stripe beer, 95.9 CKUW, Wild Planet, CBC Radio One, The Manitoban, and more.
