Western New England College is located in the western region of Massachusetts in the city of Springfield and enrolls approximately 4,000 students. They are currently accepting submissions for on campus performances during the Fall 2008 semester. WNEC prefers mainly local acts, but will consider regional and touring acts if they will be passing through the area.

  • The WNEC Coffeehouse- The WNEC Coffeehouse is a program held in the Rock Cafe. The Rock is part performance space and part cafeteria, with three different food counters to order from. The performance area has a capacity of approximately 150. An 8 channel board for sound is provided by the school, and the stage is portable risers. This venue is predominately for solo artists or small bands. Coffeehouse acts are presented during various Thursdays at noon throughout the semester. Deadline to submit for Coffeehouse performances is August 1, 2008.

  • Rivers Auditorium- The Rivers Auditorium is considered the next step up, with a dedicated stage and a capacity of 600. The auditorium is a converted gym space, with sound provided for live shows. Two to three shows are booked per semester in this venue. College friendly genres are welcome to submit. Deadline to submit for Rivers Auditorium performances in May 2, 2008.

    Selected artists will be compensated for their performances with a negotiable, modest flat fee.
