PLAY: Wonder Bar (NJ)

The Wonder Bar is an exciting, popular nightclub and grill which is a favorite gathering place for locals, visitors, and a world-recognized destination for international travelers.  From the tunes to the tiki bar to the world-famous Yappy Hour, a good time is a guarantee. We're currently looking for acts to book!

Wonder Bar is just steps from the beach and the Asbury Park Boardwalk. We're a quirky bar with live music, TV sports & a dog-friendly patio with designated playtimes. The state of the art sound system and large dance floor are a great attraction to all those who come to hear the fantastic music the Wonder Bar has become famous for. The new outside deck and bar dubbed Tillie’s Landing draws a crowd as people enjoy their cold drinks and great food. For animal lovers, there’s the famous Doggie Yappy Hour, which has sparked interest throughout the country. We're looking for local, regional and national touring acts.

• We're looking for bands that play original music. We love Rock, Jazz, Folk, Jam Bands, Alternative, Indie Blues and Soul acts.
• Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
•  We are looking for acts that fit with our vibe of the venue and the bill. Artists that apply need to be able to bring a fan base to the events. It's a large venue and demands artists with a following. Although there is walk-up traffic, we want artists to contribute themselves. 

• Gigs are paid based on door deals/ticket splits/guarantees all dependent on the show itself. 
• We give food and drink tickets to the band 
• Pay is determined upon booking
• PA provided
• Basic backline provided 
• The Wonder Bar's capacity is 350
• Supporting Local bands must be able to draw  +100
• Headlining acts must draw +200
• With a new indoor/outdoor capacity of 2,000 patrons, the Wonder Bar is ready to return as a new age, iconoclastic appealing to all ages and musical genres!
