WordSmiffs Music Series

The WordSmiffs Performance Series takes place every Sunday at The Mo'Joe Coffeehouse in downtown Indianapolis, IN from 8:00 PM to 12:00 PM. Put on by The Urban Music Federation for songwriters, poets, vocalists, and musicians, this is an excellent opportunity for up and coming artists, as well as established acts, to get in front of new faces. We have openings for house band submissions (must be able to play jazz, hip hop, r&b and latin), guest hosts, and monthly feature spots. Past performers at the series include: American Idol Contestants, HBO Def Poetry Jam poets, and award winning hip hop artists. Genres accepted include: spoken word, r&b, latin, jazz, hip hop and comedy.



Selected artists will be compensated for their performance based on draw. 1 slot per show is reserved for Sonicbids members!
