World Remix Contest

The World Remix Contest is the-ever first open source musician and deejay remix challenge destined to create the next big hit. PATjE, Talents Media, Agencing and LAtv are giving artists the opportunity to remix PATjE's
new single "La Quiero". PATjE partnered with digital radios, tv and social media to
create the “World Remix Contest" for aspiring Musicians and DJs. Top ten remixes will be voted by a jury panel comprising of LAtv, Agencing, and PATjE.

Selected artists will receive digital radio broadcasting. The final winner will be featured by PATjE and receive press exposure and promotion along the artist. The contest was announced around the Amsterdam Dance Event 2010, the leading electronic music conference and the biggest club festival for electronic music. Winners will be announced around Midem in Cannes, France in late January, 2011.



Following similar experiences PATjE believes in sharing and opening the demo with fellow musicians and mixers to produce a great mix or remix. Artists also have the tools to promote their own mix through Facebook and Twitter, and the most popular artist chosen by the audience will also win a prize.



Guidelines: To accommodate remixing, the original demo version of song "La Quiero" is available online, bass, voice, guitar, drums. Artists can mix them in any way, either by adding artists' own beats and instrumentation, or just remixing the original parts. The promoters are looking for the best remix of the song, Preferring a radio friendly remix (around 3:30 min) and a club remix of the song 4 to 8 minutes.
