Summary
The youbloom A&R team is booking 6 or more Sonicbids artists for the fifth annual youbloomLA Music Summit & Festival. Selected artists and their crew are provided festival and summit passes
The Opportunity
youbloomLA will feature up to 60 multi-genre, emerging independent artists, about half from LA and half abroad, including an international cohort. youbloom is a growing community of musicians, fans, and industry professionals joined together by a love of music and the arts.
In past years, youbloomLA has hosted over 60 bands from LA, the US and 11 countries around the world for 3 days and nights of live music and learning. Keynotes include Nigel Grainge (UK A&R legend), Tom Sturges (Prior President of Chrysalis Music), Liz Garo (booker Spaceland, Echo/Echoplex), Andy Gould (Manager Linkin Park, Rob Zombie, Pantera).
This year, the festival will take place September 20th to the 22nd, around various music venues in Northeast LA (NELA).
The Band
- Compelling and strong live show
- National and international fan base
- Original music
- Strong image and online presence (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.)
- Must be age 21+ to perform
- If from Los Angeles, must be willing to "adopt" a visiting band
The Gig
Details:
- Stages have a full backline
- Professional sound and lighting engineers provided
- Sets typically run 30 minutes
- Time slots range between 8pm and midnight
Additional Compensation Details:
- Access to youbloomLA Summit (Value $100 per band member and up to 2 crew members)
- Possible inclusion in printed festival materials, custom ads, press releases, on-site content capture
- In the spirit of community, youbloom is asking each selected act based in Los Angeles to "adopt" a visiting artist/band
