License Your Song for the "Six Counties" Documentary

Wild Iris Video is seeking two Sonicbids artists to license their music for the upcoming Six Counties documentary. Selected acts will be compensated up to $150.

Six Counties is a short documentary about a counseling center in east-central Ohio.  It is employing innovative practices such as peer support during weekends when crises are most likely to occur, holistic treatments, and the like. The counseling center is also engaging their clients as "experts" in mental health issues, as they try to communicate to the larger community services provided by Six Counties. The primary goal of the film will be to tell the story from the point of view of these clients.

Wild Iris Video is an Ohio-based video production company that covers everything from weddings to documentaries to promotional videos. Wild Iris Video commonly co-produces documentaries with other organizations, on subjects that are rich, interesting, and socially significant.

• Acoustic acts preferred, but songs with some electric instrumentation will be considered
• Folk, blues, Americana, and gospel artists will be considered
• Wild Iris Video is looking for tracks that convey a fragile yet tough tone
