Summary

Zig-Zag® Live Club Tour Spring 2006: Where fans experience the best new music and can support their local artists.

Bands: Sign-up for your chance to perform on the year’s coolest club tour plus earn a slot to play CMJ Music Marathon in New York City in the Fall and $1000 cash. Submissions will be taken exclusively through Sonicbids - so all nine performance slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists.

Zig-Zag Live brings the best new music to Boston, Austin and New York City this April, May and June. There will be nine shows over three months headlined by nationally touring bands chosen with help from CMJ and Spin. 30 semi-finalists will be chosen in each round from the pool of Sonicbids applicants to appear on ZigZagLive.com, where fans will choose nine finalists via online voting. The nine winners will appear as part of the Zig-Zag Live Club Tour - one winner at each show. At the conclusion of the Spring Tour, the nine finalists will once again appear on ZigZagLive.com, where fans will vote for one lucky band to win the Grand Prize – a performance at the 2006 CMJ Music Marathon and a $1000 cash prize.

Please note: There are two rounds of voting: To qualify for Round 1 voting, artists must submit by April 3; to qualify for Round 2 voting, artists must submit by May 1. Submissions that do not qualify to enter the next level of the competition will be automatically re-entered for the next round. SO THE EARLIER YOU ENTER, THE BETTER!
