Pushing the musical envelope full steam ahead. Hotfix are sure to make you shake your money maker. If you're in the market for a high energy and passionate band that will make you forget those pesky weekday worries, Hotfix will sprinkle some canned heat onto your one way ticket to dance town.
Hotfix began in the summer of 2016 as a musical outlet for original music written by Evan Bowers and Vince Tarlton. During the summer of 2016 Evan and Vince we're roommates in Hamilton, ON, this project began as Evan overheard the chords to "Western Love" (An as of yet, unreleased single) leaking through Vince's bedroom door. Shortly after, the two saw the addition of Evan's longtime band mates Mitch Szitas (bass) and Erik Thorkildsen (drums).
All members of the group have a rich history together. Evan and Erik had played together for more than 3 years in Hamilton Alternative rock group Still Life. While Mitch and Evan had shared the stage for over 3 years in their local funk/motown cover band The Vibes.
Hotfix has launched their original music after a good solid year of playing live covers. They debut this side of the project with their first single "Somewhere to Go". It can be found here on our Sonicbids account, as well as every major music platform (Spotify, iTunes, Etc.)
