Island Rose & The Vibrashens formed in September
2014. Consisting of veteran reggae musicians from the Austin/San
Antonio area, Island Rose & The Vibrashens produce an original roots
reggae sound. Our influences include Bob Marley & The Wailers,
Burning Spear, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, The Itals, The Meditations,
Toots & The Maytals, Jimmy Cliff, Bunny Wailer, The I-Threes,
etc... Our goal is to continue to spread roots reggae music to all four
corners of the Earth, as our reggae forefathers did.
