JAHSTIX aka RastaRock, based out of Brooklyn NY, is the embodiment of earthdriving electrical charge, the amalgam of RootsReggae, RootsRock & Folk Music.
At once a laidback acoustic guitar rebel lover and at other times a charged guitar wielding, swirling, dancing ,chanting Rasta.
Jahstix performs both Solo as a self contained act LoopMonster and in a band capacity TheRisingSonzband , when he's playing with a merry band of world accomplished multi platinum credited recorded band mates collectively known as "The Rising Sonz"
They bring the full energy form playing, writing , recording and touring with such acts as LaurynHill, Wyclef Jean, AmyWinehouse, BurningSpear, EasyStarAllstars, Araadhna ,to name a few ,into this unit to create a continuum on the RastaRock sound.
