Jenyi is a singer-songwriter originally hailing from Palo Alto, CA now residing in Los Angeles. She has been featured on shows such as The Voice of China, ETTV Top Idol and Super Idol (Chinese-language singing competitions). She has performed at iconic venues such as House of Blues on Sunset and The Bitter End in West Village, New York. Jenyi is influenced by a mixture of acoustic and electronic elements and writes with a heavy lyrical emphasis. She doesn't claim a specific genre but is influenced by artists such as Kehlani, Jhene Aiko, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, and her music similarly reflects the same storytelling focus.
