"Jovan - Emotive (Music Video) Review"

“I always get a kick out of experiencing people's talents beyond their primary skill. Thus it was a real treat to find out that Jovan made music too. Her camera work is phenomenal, so I had high hopes for her music. She did not disappoint. Her style is a little different than what I anticipated, but that's a good thing. And one can tell that she puts a lot of thoughts into her bars. "Emotive" is a commendable record/video. I respect Jovan for being so vulnerable with her fans and the video was proper.” - The Illixer

"“Working with Jovan - The Multiplex of Skill and Trade!”"

“Considering how young she is, I’ve always wondered what influenced her to adopt the classic Hip Hop sound she has…? I mean, she could’ve chosen any technique of current day artists. But the fact she picked the boom-bap bass & drum sound to mold her craft after shows what type of head she has on her shoulders. She’s a 90s baby, such as myself, after all! But in short, I was intrigued by Ms. Landry from day one... Now I’ve worked with many rappers before, but during that period, I was going through a withdrawal of negativity. Musically, I wanted to work with more positive subjects; spiritually, I was changing as a person (but that’s another story). I started becoming less of “a battle rapper”, and less competitive. So when I finally got the chance to peep Ms. Landry’s discography, I knew this would be the start of something beautiful, something new!" - Blogs by O.S. Darko

"Miss Chiff & Jovan - Motivated (Music Video)"

New Video Premier “Motivated” is the first single to be released from Miss Chiff’s upcoming album: “Illusion”. The song written by both Miss Chiff and Jovan is about how fundamental motivation is in the music industry and that it takes drive just to stay afloat.
The video is heavily inspired by circus themes as they find a parallel between the motivation it takes to throw down your walls, get off your feet, and join the circus. To Miss Chiff and Jovan, the music industry is a bit like a circus itself because you’re throwing yourself in a ring with several other people to showcase your skills with the goal of winning over the crowd. And sometimes, it requires you to get a little weird with it. - Real Hip Hop Forever

"Meet Jovan Landry “The Triple Threat”"

“Jovan feels as though thinking about what you are putting into the universe musically and how that affects your audience, causes for your longevity. Taking the time out to make timeless workings that have the ability to affect the world in a positive manner, will see to it that same positivity revolves back towards you; developing creative sounds of second nature.” - Ear Hustle 411

"Jovan - Creep - Review"

"Her musical style is reminiscent of 90s underground hip hop, and it is evident that she pays homage to her influences. However, her ability as a lyricist brings it to a whole new level. Her words draw a narrative, based around life stories and important issues. Her bold delivery propels her tales even further." - Ffaannggrrll
