Jonathan Moody Band

Jonathan Moody grew up in College Station, Texas and spent his Sundays singing a cappella in his father’s church. He played baseball in college before picking up an acoustic guitar, where he began writing songs and today performs a mix of genres and original music at venues across the country and now Internationally. Aside from performing, you can often find Jonathan escaping to the mountains in Colorado.

His musical influences are vast. Jonathan is very flexible and can cover almost all genres, laid back background music, upbeat “get the party started” music or something in between. His goal is to create the atmosphere that each client is looking for at their event. That can always be expected at the events that he or his band are a part of. He can provide an easy going acoustic sound or an energetic full band show and will travel anywhere to play for original shows, corporate events, weddings, private parties, house concerts, venue concerts etc. Some of his musical influences are the Lumineers, Chris Stapleton, Johnny Cash, Dave Matthews, Mumford and Sons, James Taylor, Tom Petty, Matchbox 20, Verve Pipe and Prince! He can cover them all!

He has opened for VINCE GILL, MARK CHESNUTT, ROBERT EARL KEEN, and even played for LADY GAGA's Super Bowl halftime show rehearsal, among many more! Some of the most notable clients are HALLMARK CARDS, MICROSOFT, MONSTER JAM, DELL, BUDWEISER, LEATHERMAN TOOLS, TEXAS RANGERS, HYATT RESORTS, MARRIOTT RESORTS, WESTIN RESORTS, SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS NEWS, NOTRE DAME UNIVERSITY, STANFORD UNIVERSITY, DR HORTON, HEB, TESORO, SUPER BOWL, PEPSI and the list goes on! Jonathan has been fortunate to grace prominent stages such as the HOUSE OF BLUES HOLLYWOOD & DALLAS and also the GRAND OLE OPRY in Nashville. Jonathan has also appeared in the WALL STREET JOURNAL and on the front page of the SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS NEWSPAPER!
