Cody Stuart Young also known as Kidd Young, a talented hip hop recording artist/song writer. He was born in Twenty Nine Palms, California but raised in Waterford, Michigan north of Detroit. Kidd Young was also recently nominated for two Detroit Music Awards. Outstanding Hip-Hop Recording & Outstanding Hip-Hop Artist. 
Kidd Young has made a big following with his music career in the local area doing shows with Mike Jones, and also other popular Michigan artist. Kidd Young tries to inspire everyone to live out their dreams and show them that anything is possible with a little work.
Kidd Young stands out among other artist with his wide range of skills from writing and producing his music to filming and editing his own videos. Let's take it back to when Kidd Young was created and how the name "Kidd Young" was established. Back in March, 2004 Cody was walking home from school with his childhood friend Danny, also known as D-Flo. Kidd Young quotes, "D-Flo was listening to a CD of downloaded beats on an old school CD player. After catching the flow of the beats Danny began free-styling and I started getting into it. From that day forward I knew that I wanted to be in the music industry and change the world as an artist. I began practicing and working hard which has got me where I'm today." Kidd Young is now working on his album "Midnight Highs" which will be available on iTunes and many more online platforms. Kidd Young has joined a group of other local artist known as
