Kid Wilderness

Kid Wilderness is bringing rock and roll back to it's bare bones. Their newest video release called "Mr. Skeleton" is as fun to listen to as it is to watch. The rock and roll trio attributes their sound to early rock and roll roots with a progressive push that helps them achieve their signature sound of being "hauntingly recognize-able and intriguingly fresh."

Lead singer Danny McCarthy, aka "band mom" as his cohorts call him, says that "our sound is all about taking the sounds we grew up on in Southern California and throwing them through the kaleidoscope of our musical interpretation and personal experience." Their first LP, aptly named "Tracks," was a double entendre meant to evoke the idea that musicians, especially Kid Wilderness, are always moving forward, leaving only their tracks as a remnant of their sound.

Danny explained "our new album will try to encapsulate that same idea...we want our recorded music to be a snapshot of who we were when we recorded those songs. Not who we were the album before, and not who we are becoming as we write new material. We play California Rock and Roll, it shifts, and it moves, and it breathes...it's our sound and we like it because we don't sound like anyone else...everyone always says 'you know who you sound like!?' and then we hear something different every time."

Mr. Skeleton will be one of the 13 songs on their upcoming album which is still TBD in terms of a release date.
