Supporters of each of the ten (10) nominees had to cast their votes online at Caribbean Hour website.

The first ever Marlin Online Voting was organized and managed by veteran Jamaican radio personality and media consultant Arnold Kelly and his Caribbean Hour organization. Kristine beat out an impressive list of nominees that included Gotee Recording artist Ayiesha, Christian Massive, Monty G, Nigel Lewis, Stitchie, Omari, St.Matthew and Isaac Blackman.

The Bahamian Praise Team, the Mount Tabor Praise & Worship team won the second online award, this time for ‘Record of the Year’. The team won the award for ‘Don’t Do It without Me’, an original composition that features the vocal contribution of world-renowned singer, author and pastor, Bishop Paul. S. Morton. Their home church based in Nassau, Bahamas, Mount Tabor Full Gospel Baptist Church is a member of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International and their senior pastor Bishop Neil C. Ellis serves as the second Presiding Bishop.

"Kristine Alicia - Get Ready!"

Ever wonder what would happen if you mixed Lauryn Hill with Chevelle Franklin and added in a healthy dose of live reggae instrumentation? Kristine Alicia answers that question with her debut release "Get Ready". The opening song, "Jehovah Jireh," starts the album on a high note with a driving steppers beat and huge, thick vocal delivery. Tracks two and three slow things down just enough to hear the full detail of Alicia's beautiful voice. Organic dancehall hypes up the energy with "Praise Dance," "One True Jah," and "All I Need." Other songs such as "Ask Me," and "Speak Lord," are truly beautiful songs with touching, heartfelt spiritual messages. Produced by the infamous Nigel Lewis, Kristine Alicia's "Get Ready" album is a rare treat--a mix of vocal talent, strong production, and songwriting that is truly hard to find. Every single Gospel Reggae fan should grab up this album without thinking twice!
