Few bands earn the right to fans returning to their shows again and again. Love Mask is one band that earned their bones in a growing cult following in Southern California, for their original act, music that RIPs ,Slaps and Shreds like no ones business! Not to mention a look that goes with it that takes you away with them to their world!
From seeing acts such as Slipknot, Alice Cooper, Mushroomhead, Ozzy Osborne & Slayer, needless to say all of which are tough acts to follow. However with the creation & evolution of San Diego, California’s LOVE MASK, I’d say they are headed in the right direction! They are on a similar wavelength as many of those bands & others. However, they are still profoundly unique! And to the band’s credit, they are still their own entity. Not an easy feat to pull of these days with bands spawning nearly every millisecond. That is part of why it is hard to exactly pinpoint their Genre in the age of endless genres where Genres Grow On Genres that Grow on Genres & so on & so forth...
Love Mask is a band that has nearly 20 original songs that are all equally as good in terms of Guitar riffage, Bass tones that crush your bones, drumming that keeps your head banging and feet dancing. Can’t forget the Vocals of Rythm/Lead guitarist and founding member of LoveMask, Cöckhole Sally & Backed up by the minions of the group for an arsenal of gang vocals on songs like “War” and “Lost Soul”.
This is a band you have to see live & in person! You can watch videos on YouTube , Facebook & Instagram or whatever. But this is not the way of a metal/rock show especially with the antics and amazing stage theatrics and crazy outfits that are constantly changing with every show That Love Mask plays! You really never know what you’re going to get! I highly recommend this band to any fan of heavy, creative, unique bands that are constantly growing rather it’s musically or in their stage performances & crazy antics.
