"LROC THE NEW FACE OF THE NORTHWEST"

LROC = Love – Respect – Obligation – Currency

LROC is an independent artist of MYL Music Group, based in Seattle, WA. An urban hip-hop MC, here to remind you of what REAL hip-hop sounds like. Originally hailing from Tacoma, WA, LROC is a proclaimed “voice of the streets”. In 2014 LROC began taking his music serious and turned “E.B.E. Gritty Gang” into a Music Group filled with comrades and family trying to positively influence each other to succeed in music and other endeavors, obviously with the common core value being “E.B.E. = Every Body Eats”. During that time LROC released his mixtapes“EBE 1, EBE 2, and The Recook” which can be found on Sound cloud, Hot New Mixtapes and Live mixtapes.com Flourishing in his music, LROC later released a Solo LP "MVII" (1008) which can be found on iTunes, Spotify & Google play for download. As of 2016 LROC hasn't released any solo work but has made prominent moves releasing music in 2 compilation projects with MYL label mates “MYL 1" & "MYL 2”. This artist continues to give the Pacific NW something to look forward to including the much anticipated album “LongLiveLROC” which will be dropping soon, so be on the lookout! Whether displaying his talent on the stage or the booth, LROC has consistently displayed greatness much like his choice in features. LROC has worked with some of today’s hottest artist’s including Nipsey Hussle, Trae the Truth, Joe Blow, Teddy T, Babyface Gunna, Serious Jones and OG Bobby Black, even opening for mainstream artists like 2chainz, Yo Gotti, and Eric Bellinger. Some other highlights of his career were opening for Snoop Dogg in California at the Hotdawgz and Handrails Brown bear event & his upcoming interview with @Rapshack which can be heard on YouTube, a Q&A with DigitaDopeboyz.com and furthermore recording at well renowned Legendary Quad Studios in Manhattan, NY. LROC continues to capitalize on every opportunity presented and his rapid rising fan base is proof of real talent. "LROC UNITES UPPER ECHELON PNW HIP-HOP ON KING AMONGST KINGS"

LROC has been one of my personal favorite PNW artists for a while. He’s been relatively quiet on releases the last few years but he recently dropped a major bomb. King Amongst Kings is a statement project and a great look for the region’s hip-hop scene.

The King amongst a group of other kings (and queen) holds true to the title on the project. ROC really put together 13 other dope artists from around the region on an album with only 12 records on the track list. It’s always a beautiful thing to see collaboration within the community and that is precisely what was executed on this project. - RESPECT MY REGION

"LROC's EP, For the Summer, is the perfect summer vibe"

LROC recently put out a 5 track EP titled, For the Summer, and it has all of the perfect summer vibes! His smooth flow combined with the variety of hot beats makes this a project an instant add to the playlist.

The first song, “Life’s Good” features Anthony Eugene and is one of the best collabs I’ve heard in awhile. This one also happens to be LROC’s favorite from the project, whcih he has stated numerous times Anthony Eugene brings a spiritual, church choir type vibe to the song as LROC gets lyrical as he talks about how good life is. This song is a perfect beginning to the EP. It gives off a positive energy which is felt throughout the rest of the project.

With the next track, LROC speeds up the tempo and is clearly having fun with it as he uses that lyrical flow that comes so naturally to him. “FWIW” is a fun, upbeat song that will have you moving to the beat without realizing it.

The third track slows down and is one that dropped in mid June. A cover to Ella Mai’s single, “Naked,” LROC spins it into a sexy, yet classy relationship song. Check out the video below!

The last two tracks are upbeat and fun as LROC goes back to talking about his usual subject matter: women and hustling. “For the Summer, " and “Computer Love” reveal his versatility and lyrical talents the most in this EP.

Overall, For the Summer is a perfect project after his earlier release of his album, King Amongst Kings. LROC’s beat selection and song sequencing not only reveal his versatility with his music, but also create a smooth flow as you listen to one song after another. Each song is noticed and heard as the EP plays.

LROC’s capability of maintaining the bar he set with his last project has not gone unnoticed. We know this man is working hard every day and we look forward to seeing what he has next for his fans!

"LROC BRINGS MOZZY’S ARTIST BABYFACE GUNNA TO TACOMA FOR “AINT EASY”"

Tacoma emcee LROC links up with Mozzy’s artist Babyface Gunna on the “Aint Easy” music video.

Quietly making moves down the coast, L has made trips for music videos and brought out of town cats back to the Tac to get on wax. Getting the California artist in Tacoma for the video is only positive for the local region. The song is produced by Drew-P Bby and the video was directed by Strong Visuals. - RESPECT MY REGION
