Luke Benson writes, plays and sings from the heart. His unique approach stems from his vast appreciation for music of all kinds. The blend is something familiar and genuine, with a personal touch that flows from his many inspirations, both musical and otherwise. A deep and ever evolving appreciation for the craft of songwriting is at the heart of his approach, and then as he puts it, “Just try to let it happen, ya know, letting the chips fall where they may.” Luke portrays his art through solo acoustic stylings as well as full electric band arrangements. He has the privilege of playing with some amazingly talented friends and musicians who bring their own energy and love to the table. His style and sound changes and evolves, static descriptions and box placements just won't stick. The music which Luke plays has been referred to as many things (some of which he’d probably just as soon forget), but he insists you call it what you want, because it’s for you…
