The charismatic lead singer, MacKenzie, has been called a “discovery of note” and has won over audiences with his incredible voice and interpretation of the music without veering into impersonating. Mackenzie has been a natural performer and prolific songwriter since his early days growing up in northern Virginia. Mackenzie has studied influential and soulful artists like James Brown, Prince, Freddie Mercury, and Michael Jackson since he was a young child.
Beginning his performance career at the age of 5 and writing his first songs at 8, it was apparent to everyone who witnessed him that he possessed something special that set him apart. He’s perfected a signature style in which he notes, “I want my sounds to become visuals that move culture forward.”
Immersing himself in such timeless music fanned the spark inside him that would consume his being. Today, that internal spark manifests itself as contagious energy, both on and off stage, that will move generations to come.
Mackenzie has it all, the songs, the performance, and the dream that will undoubtedly drop jaws and move hearts.
