Our Venues
Malones Live Music Venue is rapidly becoming one of Scotland's premier music venues. As well as hosting Live Music 6 nights a week - the venue also hosts monthly ticketed gigs showcasing some of the best rock and folk bands in the world.
In this 500 capacity venue, you will hear everything from foot stomping traditional folk bands to electric performances by locally and internationally acclaimed artists.
Malones occupies the former Oddfellows Hall in Edinburgh's Old Town.
This two-tier auditorium started as a venue where the celebration of Scottish folk culture and music was born in the 1950s. Here at Malones, we have stayed true to what Oddfellows Hall stood for many decades ago.
We regularly host national and international acts including talented folk musicians such as Sharon Shannon, Eleanor McEvoy, Paddy Casey, Tucan, Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club, The Men they Couldn't Hang, St Jude and Bagatelle.
We have also hosted great American bluegrass musicians namely the Fishpickers, Stuart McNair and the Water Tower Bucket Boys on their UK Tours.

Circular in shape - the venue provides fantastic acoustics and surround sound, an electric atmosphere and is well known across the city and beyond for it's regular live music and creative events.
