Matteo x M.O.T.U. is a Hip-Hop duo in Connecticut. The two artists first met while they were taking classes at NCC (Norwalk Community College). They discovered that they both had a passion for and developed a brotherly bond over the course of the past six years.
M.O.T.U.'s Haitian background makes his production unique in today's musical landscape. Pulling from various Carribean sources of inspiration, he has developed a style he describes as "Carribean infused Hip-Hop." The sound is unlike anything being made which makes it very difficult to approach.
Matteo's versatility, immense talent, and fearlessness allowed him to find interesting ways to tell his story and he, without a doubt, rose to the challenge the production presented. Very rarely do we hear an artist's soul in their music, and that's what Matteo brings to the table. With a partnership based on the spirit of collaboration and mutual respect, Matteo x M.O.T.U. are well positioned to carve out a space for themselves on the music scene.
