Bio
Moon Tree has roots from the gulf coast of Texas to the singing waters of Northwest Alabama. They create their own flavor of Americana music in their original songs that have been influenced by life experience.
Moon Tree’s front man Jeremy Parvin delivers powerful lyrics with his smooth southern voice. Guitarist Greg Chapman brings influences of classic rock and a jazz education. Rounding out the deep rhythmic foundation of Moon Tree’s original arrangements are the thumping bass grooves of Chet Hicks, and the intrepid stylings of drum virtuoso, Kevin Reed!
Since its inception, in 2017, Moon Tree has been writing and recording original music. Their current catalog of forty plus, original compositions, include - “Too Much Honey”, “Scorn the Crows”, “The Corinthian”, “The Company I Keep”, and “Ocean of Everything” - just to name a few. The music of Moon Tree tells of folklore of spirits, past and present, real-life legends, alternative perspectives, love, and the nostalgia of growing up in a small town. 2022 finds Moon Tree opening for Jimmy Hall and Jefferson Starship and getting started on their third studio album.
