Ayesha “Musicbox” Brooks is a Seattle based soul rock artist. She goes by the name Musicbox because she loves to sing multiple genres and performs with many different musicians and acts around the city. She has 2 solo EP’s under her belt, The first is called Purple Moonchild and her 2nd is“ I AM MUSICBOX. Ayesha is also the lead singer of the rock band “KARMIC UNREST” formally known as “ SHANE SMITHS KARMIC UNREST”. They have 2 Albums out and 2 eps coming out in 2024.
Musicbox has also had the opportunity to be on the voice season 6. She made it onto team Shakira and also had the privilege to make it onto Ushers team.Usher gave her great advice off screen, he said remember this is a show and you have talent to get work weather you win on lose, so don’t waste the opportunity.
Ayesha decided to become a freelance Seattle singer after getting the boot on NBC’s The Voice. She has had the opportunity to sing in a commercial for the Seahawks, sing backgrounds for Stevie Wonder when he came to seattle. She has done projects and shows with Wayne Horvits and the royal room. She had the honor of singing in the play “ The House of the Unholy” a tribute to Led Zeppelin. She is apart Gil Scott Herion tribute band and the “Electric Circus” that have critically acclaimed reviews. She’s been nominated for an earshot award twice.
