New Jersey rapper Nastyelgic unveils debut single "Killin' Hip Hop"

"Nastyelgic releases his latest single Killin' Hip Hop worldwide; now available on iTunes, Amazon Music Google Play and Spotify for streaming and download."

For Immediate Release - April 8, 2015 -- Nastyelgic says in his debut single Killin' Hip Hop what every independent recording artist has wanted to say for over a decade. Some may counter with a question that I am sure he has asked himself once or twice before releasing this track; is Nastyelgic coming on a bit too strong in his latest single?

Killin' Hip Hop is a thought provoking yet still entertaining record. It questions what little soul the corporate ran commercial music industry may have left with bar after bar depicting the experiences of a young up and coming rap artist, whom record execs truly think is talented, but never gave an opportunity. Backed by an explosive instrumental from Jaronamo Beat this single may be exactly what the game has been missing.

The signing of Nastyelgic and Tilt Shift Records to Forbes Music has marked their entry into the mainstream industry, and set the single Killin' Hip Hop for it's radio debut.

The single is due to impact radio in July of 2015 and is already trending on Hip Hop VIP and rapidly climbing the charts on Audiomack in the past 24 hours since it's debut.

For Immediate Release - April 7, 2015 -- Forbes Music announced today (April 7) that hip hop recording artist Nastyelgic plans to release his upcoming debut studio LP, under Forbes Music. The first single off the yet to be named debut album "Killin' Hip Hop" is already in stores. Nastyelgic has recruited award winning producer Madd Focus, who was also influential in his move to Forbes Music, to produce the follow up single to his debut, according to the label. "Killin' Hip Hop" is due to make it's impact on radio in July of 2015.

Nastyelgic is also hard at work with his older brother, who will be the main producer behind his LP. Ja'Ron "Jaronamo Beats" Jackson is also the genius producer behind "Killin' Hip Hop". "I work with him on all my projects. He is my right hand for producing, and when I do shows he's the drummer in the live band," said Nastyelgic about his brother.

When asked about his new deal with Forbes Music, Nastyelgic described it as heaven on earth; a deal with no contracts and no restrictions. "For an artist it allows you to actually be an artist instead of being an industry puppet. Having the opportunity to be independent means that you make or break yourself; it's either you got it or you don't," he said. "When Madd Focus contacted me back, and I was able to speak with them I was pretty much sold after that."

"Forbes Music's status of achievement is where I would like Tilt Shift to be. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be mentored by someone who has the experience in doing so," he said. "Make no mistake, I'm not trying to emulate Forbes Music exactly. If that were the case there would be no purpose for "Tilt Shift Records". By joining Forbes, Tilt Shift Records will now have a solid foundation to build on in order to have its own place in the music industry."

For Immediate Release - April 9, 2015 -- Source: Forbes Music

When Nastyelgic's latest single killing hip hop was released on Tuesday, April 7 2015 the anticipation was already at an astounding level. The single was said to be the anthem for talented rap artists everywhere who are not getting deals from major labels because the music they create - believe it or not - may not be negative enough.

Well the fans have spoken; and I do believe they are saying they want more of Nastyelgic; and more real hip hop. His song quickly shot to the top of the trending charts on Hip Hop VIP; taking less than 24 hours to make the giant leap. In the song the rapper speaks about his experience with major labels, shouting out "to the a&r that liked my song but ain't sign me; you killing hip hop."

Blog sites everywhere are taking notice to this hot new record and it won't belong before the world is hearing the bold and blatantly agressive accusations this young rapper is throwing around. The song is due to make it's radio debut in July, and so is Nastyelgic with many interviews already lined up. The only question left to ask is; which record label will be the first to respond?

"New Jersey Rapper, Nastyelgic Finally Finds 'The Come Up'"

Very few careers in this world have greater expectations than that of a rap career. An artist is expected to go into the studio and create musical works that a majority of the earth's population can relate to. This also comes along with the responsibility of being able to put on an even more captivating performance. If all doesn't go well, a rapper would be considered a flop, which is the equivalent of being called a draft bust in the NBA or NFL. If things do go well, the artist is expected to do it repeatedly to prove he is not just a one hit wonder.

When it comes to artists like New Jersey rapper Nastyelgic, who have made it past the possibilities of a sophomore slump, it becomes more about improvement and consistency. Nastyelgic's second release, Ali out-sold his debut single, Killin' Hip Hop, made it to #1 on Dj Scarface Radio and broke into the New York and North Carolina FM radio market. On April 1, 2016 Nastyelgic released his latest hip hop release, The Come Up under his indie record label, Tilt Shift Records.

There were no teasers and no lead ins for this single, Nastyelgic opted to surprise his fans with the release. With his current monthly listeners on Spotify over 16.5 thousand, he has seen his fair share of fan support in the U.S. and abroad. Nastyelgic is set to do his exclusive interview to introduce his latest single to the world with Dj Cherry Poppins on the WESS show, Heart 2 Heart and Follow up by introducing his new single to the thousands of listeners on the Phonex Star 9 blog talk radio show.

The Come Up will be on Nastyelgic's upcoming album, Back When Music Was. The song can be found on iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, Soundcoud and more. Marketing label Forbes Music Entertainment has a unique marketing plan set up for the release they have described as exceedingly organic. - Forbes Music Entertainment
