Bio

The Pilots i.e. Travis Payne aka "Atmost" and Juwan Cole aka "Old Jones"  are a hip-hop group originated in College Station TX. The group was formed in late 2011 and spent time working on their craft in order to begin recording the first Pilots mixtape ever released in mid 2012 i.e. "Pilots Orientation". A soulful yet stylish mix of some Wiz Khalifa meets Big Krit style tracks that were received very well. Along with a feature from Sac Towns "Chuuwee" on the track "Lifted" it was clear that The Pilots had made and impact. Receiving positive reviews The Pilots went on to create and release an EP dubbed "Stepping Out" switching the style of music from the previous mixtape to a more upbeat club style that most defiantly made an impact on the community as well as much further into an untapped fan base. Tracks like "Pills Drank Weed" and "Pilot Like Me" were favorites among the mixtape. And bringing it closer to the present, The latest tape released from The Pilots in 2014 "The Sky is Unsafe" has undoubtedly been the best in terms of quality of music, beat selection and all around music advancement. Such hits as "Untouchable" "Brinks Truck" and "Take Me Away" shows that The Pilots can truly create a solid body of music in todays watered down music industry.
The Pilots are also no strangers to the stage, Opening for such names as Juicy J, Riff Raff, Ludacris, Lil Debbie, Kirko Bangz, Trinidad James, Doughbeezy and many more. Some of the bigger shows have had more than 3000 in attendance and The Pilots have the "IT" factor that allows them to interact with the crowd and truly entertain in a very natural and fluid like manner. One song from The Pilots and you know right away that you are looking at the future of hip-hop. The Pilots are currently working on a new mixtape and have made it clear that they are a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming year.
