On March 26th Ryan released his latest album titled, “Beat Shop”, via Movement Records.  The album includes 13 original songs written by Ryan during a covid lockdown.  Stuck in  his home struggling with the pandemic Ryan was motivated on making new music and experimenting with a new sound and style. Just getting out of a 9 year relationship Ryan began writing   on feelings and emotions he felt and found himself writing most about his breakup.  As depressing as it sounds, the album is not depressing at all, it’s not an album of break up ballads that makes you go in a room and cry. The album has no slow ballads  and features only upbeat, uptempo tracks that also  includes love, sex, fantasy and fun.

The first single from the album titled, “Never Did”, released on August 5th and debut on the iTunes Top 100 singles chart at No.3 selling 30K worldwide with streams and digital sales combined.

Ryan has dreams of building a family business empire which consists of many business ventures.  He decided during this pandemic that it would be the right time to start some of these ventures.  He partnered with Alive shoes and began designing a line of shoes.  The shoes are a high end quality that are made in Italy and the material is only the best promising you can get a full refund  if you are unsatisfied with the product. Ryan also took matters into his own hands when it came to his music career, with the launch of a new shoe line in the same month Ryan began the process of obtaining ownership and licenses of running a independent record label and everything became reality on  September 15th as Ryan went into a new partnership with DITTO music and legally became a record label owner/president at Movement Entertainment.  Currently the labels roster consists of  5 artist development deals that includes Ryan Lagup’ Beat Shop project.
