"Making It All On My Own"

Sarcast, Making It All On My OwnBy Rude Boy Magazine on April 29, 2015@rudeboyasia
420 FundRaiser

“I simply want to make positive music to have people thinking, something they can relate to, and a little something to groove to.”

As an artist, Sarcast has spent his entire music career stepping outside of the box. Even though still underground, he truly has been fulfilling his dream as an artist and has achieved things he never thought possible. He’s come from his mother’s basement in Omaha, NE as a teenager to Denver, CO opening up for major acts such as Chamillionaire, Twista, Devin the Dude, B.O.B., Dizzy Wright, Krazie Bone, Jarren Benton, and many more. The artist has also had the opportunity to travel to California to be involved in the MULA Team Backpack auditions and has plans to attend next year as well.

Another accomplishment Sarcast is proud of is being able to be a part of Denver’s 420 Cannabis Culture Music Festival which is a huge event for the marijuana smokers of Colorado. In 2014 he was offered to create his own fundraiser show for the festival and helped to determine which independent artists would make the cut to perform. Sarcast was able to headline this year at the festival, right at 4:20pm, in front of about 200,000 people. It was that moment he knew “the movement” he has been working toward all these years is actually becoming a reality.

More recent Sarcast had the chance to travel to Austin, TX to perform at two different showcases at #SXSW2K15 the Colorado Music Party sponsored by SpokesBuzz and the FirstDirt DOITour KickOff. The artist is receiving much love from all over world, from Brazil, China, Portugal, to the UK his fans love the positive message he spreads through his music. You can also check out an article on Sarcast that was featured in the July 2014 issue of Soul Central Magazine.

The artist has also had the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles, CA to be involved in the TeamBackPack Cypher Draft MULA auditions two years in a row. What makes all of Sarcast accomplishments so rewarding is he has made it where he is today all on his own. Other artist have come and gone, but Sarcast knows exactly what he wants out of his career, and is not afraid to go out and get it. People often ask the artist how he has achieved all of this on his own, he simply replies “I just do it, when you want something bad enough you will figure out how to make it happen.” I believe this is just the beginning for Sarcast, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for this up and coming artist. - See more at: http://sarcast.org/bio/#sthash.8edsPPK7.dpuf
