"Emergenza Festival"

Electro-pop band SLAVE To The SQUAREwave came to Germany on a mission. After 2 days of intense promotion to create a buzz around their name, the band left itself no other choice but to live up to the expectations created. Expectations that they absolutely and brilliantly surpassed in front of the large crowd that amassed to see them!

SLAVE To The SQUAREwave left many simply stunned, and were the only Emergenza band to be asked for an encore by the German audience after their set was over. This is a band to be seen live. They bring back the fun and the creativity that is missing in too many of today’s mainstream acts. Incredible.

"Montreal Music Scene"

Montreal, Club Soda Oct. 2 2003:

"It appears the music industry has completely forgotten that people want to be entertained and that's what SLAVE to the SQUAREwave did. They made you move, they made you laugh, they made you sing and dance!
Fat bass lines and a house beat accommodate thier style in such a way that would implant a permanent smile on your face."

"Orcasound"

Montreal Club Soda Nov.11 2003:

SLAVE to the SQUAREwave put on an amazing show at Club Soda with their high-powered blend of 80's electro-rock and modern pop. Every song with filled with pure emotion. Thier energy really came through on stage, as they interacted with one another as well as the audience.

"Emergenza Festival"

Toronto Opera House, June 21st, 2003:
"SLAVE to the SQUAREwave's retro cool synths, hot dance beats and wild stage presence more than impressed both jury and all 1300 people in attendance. This is one band you must see live!" - J. Parrot

"Radio ARIA Luxembourg"

Taubertal Open Air Festival, Germany, August 9th 2003

"My personal winner were SLAVE To The SQUAREwave from Toronto. The musical presentation was fabulous. This band reminds me a lot of Devo, but contains more disco elements and the stage show was very theatrical. You really saw that they lived the music they played. Several thousand people were watching one of the best Emergenza shows I've ever seen."
