Bio
Stefan is a blues-influenced singer-songwriter with a contemporary edge. Throughout his youth he was surrounded and captivated by countless styles of music. Stefan was born in Oxford, England and grew up in the American south, spending most of his childhood in Birmingham, AL and Jacksonville, FL. He began playing classical guitar at four years old, but over time was drawn to many other styles, including rock, blues, soul, and singer-songwriter. He grew apart from the guitar while receiving a BA in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, but near the end of his studies, and during his time spent working in the corporate world, Stefan rediscovered his passion for music. He began writing original songs and eventually decided to pursue music full-time. His inventive guitar arrangements provide an exciting foundation for ear-grabbing vocal melodies and honest, relatable lyrics.
