Swearingen and Kelli

With several solo CDs behind each of them, Swearingen and Kelli hit the ground running with their first CD as a duo which they recorded and produced. All the instrumentation was performed by AJ and Jayne. Folk icon Tom Rush covered and included their fifth track, Youre Not Here With Me on his latest solo release, What I Know. They have been on the road performing songs from the self-titled CD and have recently appeared at stunning venues such as Steel Stacks and the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Pennsylvania, The Ark in Michigan, The Elks Opera House in Arizona, and the Palladium Theater and Largo Cultural Center in their home state of Florida.
AJ Swearingen has been perfecting his unique style of acoustic-based modern folk music for a while. He brings amazing guitar and production skills to the duo, as well as a voice like melted butter plus songs that go round in your head after one or two listens.
Jayne Kelli has been writing intimate songs since she was in grade school. She crafts them to perfection and brings them to life with a sweet and versatile voice that competes with Alison Krauss and Joy Williams, while accompanying herself on guitar, keyboards and ukulele.
Together, Swearingen and Kelli are a dynamite duo that can switch from a plaintive ballad to an upbeat country song at will. They have shared the stage with the likes of Crystal Gayle and Tom Rush.
