Kevin Octave (A.K.A DJ K.O.) has become the go-to DJ for all types of events around Northern Colorado due to his five years’ experience and hundreds of professional gigs he has played. His unique style and mixing has set him apart from other DJ’s in the Midwest region. From blazing the hottest clubs in Colorado to burning up dance floors in Wyoming, Nebraska, Texas, Virginia and Florida. DJ K.O. is who the club owners call the keep the party jumping.
In 2012, during his first and only deployment with the United States Air Force, Kevin watched a live performance by DJ Jazzy Jeff that motivated him to learn and join the DJing community. Eager to learn K.O. watched YouTube videos, read books, and spent countless hours practicing the basics of DJing. Fast forward to 2017: DJ K.O. becoming a household name not only in Colorado but all over the country.
DJ K.O. takes inspiration from such musical icons as DJ Jazzy Jeff, Diplo, Stro Elliot, Tedsmooth and Kaytranada. He loves learning from any artist he encounters on his musical journey. Kevin continually seeks to mix and blend sounds that keep him one step ahead of the industry trends. His audience getting the opportunity to discover what he believes is the true meaning of music in its purest form is what makes all of this worthwhile.
