Bio

The Barrelors have been blues-rockin' all over Colorado for nearly half a dozen years. They are an onslaught of sound, with the power of a thousand ghosts at their fingertips. They honor their heroes while blazing trails into new frontiers of American music. Their sonic rapport defies reality, like a hive mind constantly rewriting an encyclopedia of all things groove. They'll make you move. They'll make you remember what music's always meant to you. They'll distill a cocktail of blues, rock, grease and funk right before your eyes... and you'll be left with a taste that you can't forget.

In January of 2017, these three derelict blues hounds found their pack. In the shadows of the Rocky Mountains they joined forces, having already booked a gig in two weeks time. The early days united them with a love of all things blues. The set then included classics from the likes of: Freddie, BB, and Albert King, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, T-Bone Walker, etc.

As the years rolled on, this would (and will forever) remain the core of what The Barrelors do. However, the more they barreled, the more exotic flavors they would find popping up in subsequent batches. What to call this product then? Blues? Rock? Funk? Jam? Pop? ...any could apply at the right moment of a Barrelors concert. They were learning to distill everything they ever loved into their own concoction... invitingly warm and familiar, yet new and exciting.

It was the band's great honor and privilege to be among the exclusive roster of local talent entrusted to uphold the legend of the great El Chapultepec on many a raucous Saturday night back in the day, and they've played festivals ranging Denver's Oktoberfest to Leadville Boom Days. They were featured on Downbeat Denver, and have released both an EP and a couple of singles independently. The gears are turning toward recording more of their huge original catalogue in the near future, with a release in 2023!

Currently booking to support new music to come, and to do what we love most with the people who need it as much as we do.
Raise a glass, and move your ass. The Barrelors are here.
