The Jacktones are an indie rock group with hints of funk and jazz. They sound like a mix between The Dave Matthews Band and Maroon 5, but slightly more rock oriented.
The bands frontman, Ian Suhovy, is a Russian born guitarist and singer/songwriter who captures the crowd with his "non-rockstar-esque" boyish charm and his wonderfully tasteful lyrics. On drums and percussion is Ryan Calvert, who has an extensive background is jazz and funk. The bassist is Ben Wiles and the man on the saxophone is DJ Shirley, both excellent jazz musicians as well.
The Jacktones released their debut album, Unriddled, in May of 2014. And since have played venues up and down California including opening sets for Everclear and Alien Ant Farm. The Jacktones are currently working on their debut music video and their second studio album.
