The Nathaniel Hardy Project’s “Nothing Last Forever!” is an EP chalked full of four songs that’ll leave you thinking and rapping just a little. “Nothing Last Forever!” is a reminder to cherish what you have now because the latter is a reality. The song itself has a feeling that’s not a downer, but it’s not exactly an upper either. It sits in the middle of things. “I Love You More!” has a good back beat to it that causes it to be this well done love song. “Can’t You See the Future?” asks with a more hip hop flow to the delivery. While the other songs were primarily sung, this one does it a little different by adding rhymes to the mix. “Shut the Hell Up! (The Snitch Version)” for some reason reminded me of the ’80s. It was like a niche of a theatrical dance number. Bio
Born in Baltimore, Maryland (B-more) with always a love for music whatever the "Genre" was. At a very young age I knew that my interest has always leaned toward the creation of music. To keep myself busy and out of trouble I joined the band at Cherry Hill Junior High School (P.S.#180) and started playing the Bass Cello when I was in the 7th grade; however it proved to be too heavy for me to carry home after many months, so I switched to the Trombone and played it until the 9th grade. Performed as a front man in three local bands by the age of 16, and after numerous failures in those bands and with our record company and an uncertainty of where my life was headed, I took numerous session gigs before joining the U.S. Navy where I served proudly for ten years! I was about to give up on music because I felt that I was not where I was supposed to be, then in 2006 I was diagnosed with cancer and music was the only thing besides a friend named “Shirley” whom is now my wife that kept me happy. Not knowing how this cancer treatment was going to turn out. I turned to music as an “outlet” and continued to write and record music. “God gave me the talent. I need to use it!" I learned that my "passion" is and has always been music. "What was I thinking?" I have done a number of session recordings with a number of famous artist. "Being an ‘Independent Artist’ there's nothing that I feel I can't do when I put my mind to it!" "If there's anything that anyone has learned about me it's that I'm dedicated more than you'll ever imagine when there is something that interest me." And "music" is my interest! I decided to change my artist name to "The Nathaniel Hardy Project" in 2006 because I managed to get a project done by myself from the writing to the mixing of the EP during that dark time in my life although I only had a few tracks on the CD. I call my music “Thought music” because I put a lot of creative thinking in my words or bars before a put anything on either magnetic, paper or digital media. Music has taught me one thing, and this is my saying and don't let anyone tell you different! "'NEVER' depend on any one else to put you in a place that you want to be!" I have had numerous promises that ended up to "Nowheresville." I am "The Nathaniel Hardy Project" Google me!!!
