The Equinox was founded by Caleb Melvin and Wesley Green. Formally "The Help" after being asked many times if the name was based after the book/movie they decided to change it to something that best suits there individual style. Mixed with alot of different influences such as Indie, Rock, Jazz and funk "The Equinox" has a very original style and put on a great performance. At their shows they play mostly all orginals and very few covers. In the past Equinox played shows acousticly using only Caleb and Wesley. Their first Ep. Titled "Blue Skies" was recorded and written by Caleb and Wesley at Wesley's home studio "1996 Studios" as of 2015 The Equinox decided to expand beyond the original founders. The new band consists of 4 members: Wesley Green Caleb Melvin Cail Huggins Jared Burch An Equinox is described as when the sun crosses the celestial equator in which day and night are of equal length. So is true with the band. With their breath taking harmonies, intriguing lyrics and skillful playing, they will take you to a celestial place and leave you wanting more.
