"The Revolving Bullets"

The Revolving Bullets in a nutshell: atmospheric brooding over the insignificance of the self in the universe, the not quite believing how very small the protagonist—and, by extension, every other protagonist—seems against the Cosmic Indifference. With a beat and some indignant stridency to make it rock and roll.

Bio

The Revolving Bullets are a 3 piece rock and roll band who are friends based out of the Seattle/Tacoma area. The origin of the band started with songwriter/guitarist – Daniel Song –  finding inspiration from songwriters such as Kurt Cobain and Noel Gallagher to start writing riffs/songs after being disillusioned with his own purpose in life.   After years of working on the craft of songwriting, bassist Jesse Bareng and drummer Tommy Mcdonald were shown the songs written thus far and asked to join based on the potential of the songs and the vision set forth for the band. However, the story is not quite that simple and required a great amount of faith and sacrifice to embark on this journey of wanting to become one of the next great rock and roll bands.

The band is rehearsed and ready to finally share with the world all their songs that took years to craft and perform live for people.  The full slate of songs that were written including the demo was influenced by each band members' style and eclectic taste in music.  The songs reflect a variety of style that will appeal to the modern day listener.  A strong emphasis was placed on melody which can harken back to bands from the sixties such as The Beatles, The Ronettes and bands such as Nirvana, Oasis.

The attack of the songs were hoping to capture the power and spirit of bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Stooges and The Sex Pistols.  Lastly, elements of The Stone Roses, The Smiths, U2, Foo Fighters, Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys could be invoked when hearing the The Revolving Bullets.

However, all the bands referenced above are not specific influences but rather bands that have inspired the band to be who and what they are today.  The band is not looking to be the next “insert band name” or be a specific genre of rock music but wanting to be a band who have their own individual style and voice that is reflected in their songs.  People will come to their own conclusions who they think the band were influenced by or sound like and the band came to accept that's just how things are.  Visually, the band is not your typical rock and roll band, we are reflective of the world today and hope to inspire others on what their idea of a rock and roll band is.

In the end, the band is ready to perform live and aspire to be the soundtrack of many peoples' lives with our songs.
