Bio
The original Wharf Rats started eight years ago in Eric's studio basement with several friends who jammed together for many years. Influenced by the creative sounds of the Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Dylan, and original compositions, the band has found it's own voice. If Psychedelic folk rock jam band were a genre, the band would fit in quite well. The band's back line of solid drumming/percussion and bass is balanced with the interplay of melodies between the lead guitarist, pedal, and keyboard player. New dimensions of sound happen at every rehearsal and gig.
The Wharf Rats have been joined by Ron Holloway ( Gov't Mule ), John Kadelick ( Further ), Jeremy Gillis ( Downtown Venus ), Katy Gaughn ( Djsben ), and numerous other performing artists over the years.
