Bio

Trees Marie is a Texas native singer-songwriter from Denton, Texas. Her repertoire remains in the cross-waters between the sweet stories of folk and the dramatics of blues; but always teetering on the edge of Texas country. From her debut in Austin, Texas, she has uncovered her natural temptation of rock 'n roll while addressing modern social issues, love, and freedom (or lack thereof) through soulful melodies and a variation of stringed instruments. As a 2013 graduate from the University of North Texas, she lives in Denton, Texas and is working on her second album, featuring all Texas musicians.
