Bio

TreeWalker is "a stadium rock band that just hasn’t gotten an opportunity to blow minds at a stadium yet”, according to Gable Music Ventures' Jeremy Hebbel.  The band deftly crosses the span between their alternative, indie, southern, and classic rock influences and melds it all into a powerful, memorable, and unique sound that provides the backdrop for intense live performances.

Frontman/guitarist/songwriter Kirby Moore, who cut his teeth touring in Europe as a bass player in his early 20’s with The Casting Out, formed TreeWalker in 2013 as an outlet for his growing song catalogue.  By late-2014, the band had released both an EP and full-length album's worth of material that was “soulful, thoughtful, and mature…’old soul’ style with very modern production twists” (That Mag’s Dan Williams).

While the original lineup outside of Moore had fallen away by mid-2015, new life was breathed into the band with the addition of a more aggressive and potent rhythm section in Matt Volk on drums and Dave Filiaggi on bass.  The new trio immediately got to work on a new LP's worth of songs that showcased their new sound.  Producer and engineer Kevin McKee was brought into the fold midway through the recording sessions in 2016, adding a lead guitar virtuosity that ranges from delicate and nuanced to blistering and raging.  The band added fresh depth and dimension to their sound in 2017 with the addition of Branden Sheets on keyboards and vocals.  The now 5-piece released their most ambitious work to date with 2019's Terra Incognita.

TreeWalker has been featured at such events as Live Nation's Local Brews Local Grooves at The Queen in Wilmington, DE (2x), Turks Head Music Festival in West Chester, PA, WSTW's Wilmington Flower Market, Shazizzle Music Fest, and Smyrna At Night.  They are currently focused on branching out to capture new audiences with upcoming regional tours and adding to their ever-expanding catalogue of material while exploring new ground with their sound.
