Vinyl Hampdin is an extraordinary all-star assemblage of monster musicians. Everyone has their own very successful and well-established careers, and have come together to form what can only be described as rocked-out-seriously-funky-jaw-dropping-ear-candy!
A very accessible ensemble, Vinyl Hampdin is fronted by an amazing vocalist–Lisa Dodd–who has an phenomenal range. Her voice is somewhere between Bonnie Raitt and Robert Plant...with a generous helping of Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin mixed in! Add to this the deep pocket rhythm section–all of them Grammy/Juno veterans–and then top it all off with one of the most experienced, decorated and exhilarating horn sections in existence today and you get MAGIC.
All of the pieces are penned and/or arranged by multiple Grammy-nominated composer and arranger Steve Wiest.
This music is exciting, relatable and above all else: FUN!
