"PLAYLIST – JUNE 2014"

"Wild Night are on a roll lately. I’ve been hearing their name pop up more and more and they even caught the attention of CBC Radio 3, charting well on the R3-30 countdown. The band released their EP in March (cute album cover alert!) and aim for a full length in 2015. It was awesome having them be part of Dr. Disc’s Raise the Roof concert series – unfortunately they got rained out in May, but more than made up for it in June!" - I Heart Hamilton, Kristen Archer

"Arkells, Shimmering Stars and Tokyo Police Club: artists added into rotation on Radio 3 this week"

"Everyone loves a good summer anthem right? This Hamilton band brings subtle hints of Springsteen, Gaslight Anthem, and maybe even a little Bryan Adams into their sound to help you reminisce about your past summer memories. Another early Searchlight discovery." - CBC Radio 3, Grant Lawerence

Bio

Wild Night hail from the smoke stacks of Hamilton, Ontario. They play rock and roll like their lives depend on it, because while they were growing up, they did. Carrying the echoes of their parent’s records, Wild Night are out to revive the heart and spirit of everything good that is gone. They write rollicking anthems with soaring vocals, crashing drums, screaming guitars and their hearts on their sleeves. When Wild Night hits the stage, they give everything in them and leave nothing left for the way back. “Indian Summer” the band’s debut single from their self titled EP, quickly climbed up into the top 10 of CBC Radio 3’s R3-30 amongst artists like Young Rival, Tokyo Police Club, and Arkells. The band plans to record their debut album in the fall for a 2015 release.
