Zay Ramirez

Zay Ramirez is a versatile rock musician from Hollister, California. Raised by a family of musicians, he grew up playing guitar, drums, and bass in several bands and spent years gigging across California. He has played a number of shows over the years, frequently performing at local bars and breweries, and was part of the lineup for annual summer festivals. Upon moving to Chicago, Zay is determined to make a name for himself in the music scene. 

Zay takes inspiration from artists like Chris Cornell and Eddie Van Halen with a sound that has been compared to several different bands, including Alice and Chains, Deftones, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. These various influences have resulted in his unique and signature sound, which can be described as a combination of grunge and metal, mixed with the latin melodies that he grew up listening to. Onstage, his musicality is matched by a charismatic presence that hypnotizes his audience and takes them on a journey unlike anything they’ve ever experienced.
