New Band? Yes. New musicians? Not even close. When it comes to that special music group, some say the stars must have been in perfect alignment. Others say they got lucky. Randall Wood, Andy Neal, Kevin Hockett, and Mark Porter are seasoned musicians, who had been playing for years. Andy Neal- talented singer/drummer. A well-known talent out of the Sacramento music scene who has relocated to Reno to become a front man for the right act. He meets Randall, who knows Kevin. The final piece of the puzzle, bassist/vocalist Mark Porter is added to the line up, and Zesty Cat is born. For the members of Zesty Cat rehearsals are not work, but a labor of love. The band can cover a wide range of grooving music from many genres of rock and pop styles. Zesty Cat will be that quality live act that is a sure crowd pleaser.
