Ziggy Tarr is an energetic and emotive performer making waves in Santa Cruz . Playing through streets and bars; yoga classes and restaurants; beaches and back-yards, this homemade recipe has people lining up to hear the primal, high-stakes emotions of blues-roots and world music, with the lyrical imagery of alternative rock.
Since melting in the companionship of his guitar at age 10, he has processed the changes of scenery in his nomadic young life into his instrument, creating his own unique sound and style.
Natural melodies, percussive guitar riffs, whispers to howls, extended rhythmic break-downs.
