"Greg Williams South Magazine"

" A standout talent for nearly 2 decades, this singer-songwriter has earned international kudos while flying under most folks radar. Blessed with a poetic flair and vocal gifts most singers would die for, he's no slouch on guitar either. He's graced the soundtracks of several network t.v. shows and indie films, and his DIY records are likened to those of Tom Petty, Pete Droge and Matthew Sweet. He's also gigged at famed troubadour havens like Eddie's Attic in Atlanta, The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and Canters Deli and The Mint in Los Angeles." - South Magazine - Feb/March 2010 - South Magazine

"Greg Williams"

... This powerhouse singer/songwriter has been such a mainstay on the local music scene for years now that it's easy to forget just how good he truly is at writing and performing memorable, poetic rock, blues and contemporary folk songs. One of the few local artists who's able to get away with playing virtually all his own material at bars and restaurants whose patrons are more accustomed to hearing shopworn soft rock warhorses than vibrant, unfamiliar new music, he gets away with it on the shear worth of his material. The combination of his facile fretwork on the guitar and a vocal range and control that's so spot on it's almost eerie have taken him far. He has toured nationally, and released a handful of highly acclaimed indie CDs. Greg recently performed at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Don't let the regularity with which he plays in this area fool you. He'd be a shining star in any town." - Connect

"Greg Williams Asia Maya Zen"

... Why Greg Williams isn't insanely popular on a national level is one of the many great mysteries of the local Savannah scene. With a slightly-raspy-yet-smooth voice and sincere folk ballads, Williams has a detailed past generously sprinkled with big names. He's performed with acts like John Mayer, Edwin McCain and Shawn Mullins, but we all know he's way better and more deserving than all of them. "Greg Williams Caterpillar"

" Listening to Greg Williams latest recording, Caterpillar is not like listening at all. It's like crawling into silky sheets with a down comforter against your head, like riding slowly thru the desert at dusk, like feeling that sensation you get after a plane takes off and you are suspended above the earth on air alone. There's "Love is Everything", which is featured in the independent film "Siblings". Another standout is the ethereal "Milk", a hauntingly beautiful melodic piece that sounds not of this world, as if sung by someone on another planet or from beyond the grave". - Savannah Morning News

"Greg Williams"

This guitarist has been a familiar face in regional venues for years, when not making trips to L.A. and Nashville to showcase and collaborate with other, more established songwriters(many of whom boast major chart hits and Grammy/Oscars on their own). Hes self released a handful of albums filled with material that runs the gamet from quiet, contemplative modern folk to steamy 70s style hard rock and lush, dreamy radio-ready pop. Signed to a licensing/publishing deal with Cherrylane Music Publishing in 2002, he has seen his original tunes used in several indie films and network TV series internationally. Armed with lyrical sensibilities informed by the classic Stratocaster poets(Dylan and Hendrix), and the vocal chops to pull off even demanding love songs that would not seem out of place soaring over the credits of a Disney movie, he remains a monster(if still criminally underexposed) talent.
