Bio
It takes courage to release one's perspective on music to the world. Therefore, the name of our songwriting team is a reflection of the bravery all songwriters have.
Courageous consists of four songwriters from Michigan and California.
Edgar Guevara has led ministries up and down the state of Michigan. He is the founder of the 58 Greene a capella group at the University of Michigan, a former member of Natural Vibe and is currently pursuing a Masters in Theology in Sault St. Marie, Michigan.
Eric Agustin is a father of 4 boys in Sterling Heights, Michigan who leads by example. A former member of 58 Greene, he hopes to reaffirms people's faith in God through music.
Steve Kang is based in San Diego, California. He is a former music director for 58 Greene. He provides string arrangements and mixdown talents to the Courageous team.
Reno Ursal has had songwriting and producer credits for various recording artists in the dance and R&B genres. His goal with Courageous is to connect the youth to God with contemporary Christian music they can relate to.
We are four people in different areas of the country. Through technology, we are able to combine our perspectives in music in our attempts to reach a seemingly unattainable goal - to write the perfect song.
It is our hope that music listeners can feel our music resonate in their hearts.
