About
Label group with a focus on creative and eccentric entertainment in all mediums known and unknown. Kris “Halo” Pierce founded Halo Askew Entertainment sixteen years ago as a publishing company for his bands, Haunted Echo and Resident51, and event management for several award winning theatre productions and caberet shows in Manhattan. In 2010, he narrowed his focus to digital publishing.
A graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, some of his notable projects have included heading up productions with Whoopi Goldberg, Cyndi Lauper, Julie Taymor’s smash off-broadway hit, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Steve Martin’s Bright Star at NYSAF. He recently managed the record label, No FiLTr LTD, with Grammy Award winning, Freddy Bastone, and was a member of the Grammy nominated team for Common's "The Corner"
Halo Askew Entertainment is a three-time "Best of Manhattan for Entertainment Production" award winner.
